"Training Programme on Business Plan for FPOs"

NABARD MABIF has organized "Training Programme on Business Plan for FPOs" for NABARD - MABIF CBBO FPOs from 08th - 09th Sept'23 at NABARD MABIF, AC&RI, Madurai. NABARD - MABIF CBBO Promoting 25 FPOs in 4 regions by covering 11 districts, under the CSS scheme for the Formation & Promotion of 10K FPOs.

A total of 40 BODs from 7 FPOs namely Joint Hands Women FPCL, Shri Kenga FPCL, Therkaaru FPCL, Sangai Gomathi FPCL, Bannari Amman FPCL, Ammapettai Banana & Coconut FPCL & Makilam FPCL participated in this Program.

The main objective of the training was to educate the Farmer Producer Organization's farmers on the various aspects of Business Plan preparation.

The training covered and discussed various topics on:

1. Integrated Agro Services

2. Agri Value chain

3. Importance of business plan for FPOs

4. Financial planning

5. Budgeting and Handling of grants & loans

6. Value addition, Packaging & branding

7. Marketing & Distribution challenges for FPOs
