NABARD MABIF along with Financial Inclusion and Development Department, Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Chennai organized a Financial Literacy Programme for Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) & Agri Start-ups from 08th - 09th February 2024 at AC&RI, Madurai. Around 70 FPOs and 100+ Startups participated in this Program.
The event featured esteemed Chief guests including Smt. Uma Sankar, Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India (RBI)-Chennai, Shri. E. R. Muthuselvan, DGM, RBI-Chennai, Shri. S. Krishna Kumar, AGM, RBI-Chennai. Shri Anoop. T. M, Chief Regional Manager, IOB-Madurai, Shri. Subramanian, Chief Regional Manager, Indian Bank-Madurai, Shri D. Anil, LDM, Canara Bank-Madurai, Dr. P.P Mahendran, Dean, AC&RI-Madurai, NABARD Officials Shri. A. Shakthi Balan DDM- Madurai, Shri. The esteemed guests also had the opportunity to visit NABARD MABIF's state-of-the-art Food Processing Centre, showcasing its various units including Milk Processing, Retort Processing, Chikki Processing, Animal Feed Production, and Food Testing Laboratory.

The startups & FPOs Interaction session provided an informal setting for networking and building rapport between MABIF incubates and the government delegation. It was an opportunity for MABIF incubatees to share their experiences, aspirations, and ideas directly with those shaping policies and regulations.
Additionally, NABARD MABIF's Incubatees showcased their Value-Added Products for our esteemed chief guests, featuring innovative products developed through MABIF.
