Mr.Swaminathan from M/s KASKOM and his colleague visited MABIF. KASKOM is a social enterprise based on a Farm to Fabric model, which revitalizes the Indian native cotton value chain and they produce and promote hand-spun and hand-woven fabrics, ensuring better livelihood for cotton growers, spinners, and handloom weavers. Their fabrics are completely free from chemicals, from the time of cultivation to textile processing, making them natural and safe.
In addition to this, KASKOM is also involved in working on other craft forms.MABIF is handholding and mentoring them on various projects and ideas to reinvigorate the short stable cotton.
