MABIF organized ESAF supported Training Programme on Branding, Packaging, and Licensing at NABARD MABIF, AC&RI, Madurai. SM, MABIF briefed about the MABIF activities and agribusiness opportunities. The program covered the techniques of Branding, Packaging, and mandatory Licensing for different products by various sectoral experts.

5. Importance of Licensing and its benefits -Mr. T. Gobinath, DM, MABIF
6. Packing Materials for Agricultural Commodities - Mr. K. Vigneshwaran, Vijaya Lakshmi Poly Pack.
Around 25 BoDs and CEOs, Farmers from Ariyalur, Madurai, and Perambalur districts participated actively in the program. Valuable feedback from a farmer is also attached. Value addition for Maize other than feed purpose, Value addition in ginger/banana, market linkages for small onion and cashews were other support sought.
