MABIF has networked drone spraying of 25 acres for a farmer in Madurai. The per acre cost is Rs.700/- Which is 33% less than existing expenditure for the farmers, less pesticide consumption, less manual works of water filling & walking in the files and work done in less time. The spraying had created awareness about usage of drone in the village and MABIF expects the benefits of the new technology will spread to all farms in near future.
