NABARD - MABIF has organized a Capacity Building Training on "Management of FPOs" from 18th - 19th May'23 at Kazhani Farmer Producer Company Limited, Gobichettipalayam.
A total of 30 farmers (BODs & CEOs) from 3 FPOs namely Uzhavam FPCL, Mukkudal FPCL and Avinashiappar FPCL participated in this Program. The main objective of the training was to educate the Farmer Producer Organization's farmers on the various aspects of Capacity Building.
The training covered and discussed various topics on:
1. Statutory Compliances, Skill Development, Decision Making.
2. Leadership Quality, Accounting & Governance of FPOs.
3. Economic & Administrative Strategies to manage the FPOs.
4. Opportunities and challenges in the promotion of FPOs.
5. Content of Memorandum of Association (MoA) & Articles of Association (AoA).
