NABARD MABIF along with Vazhndhu Kattuvom Project has jointly organized a Capacity Building Training from 05th - 07th June'23 at NABARD MABIF, AC&RI, Madurai. Guest speaker Dr. S. Senthil Vinayagam, CEO, a-IDEA TBI of NAARM addressed the participants.
A total of 40 farmers (BODs & CEOs) from 4 FPOs namely Paimpozhil FPCL, Srirangam Banana FPCL, Pudukottai Thondaiman FPCL and Mohanur Ezhili FPCL participated in this Program.
The main objective of the training was to educate the Farmer Producer Organization's farmers on the various aspects of Capacity Building.
The training covered and discussed various topics on:
1. Statutory Compliances, Skill Development, Decision Making.
2. Leadership Quality, Accounting & Governance of FPOs.
3. Economic & Administrative Strategies to manage the FPOs.
4. Opportunities and challenges in the promotion of FPOs.
5. Content of Memorandum of Association (MoA) & Articles of Association (AoA).
