MABIF along with Scientists of ICAR - Central Tuber Crops Research Institute(CTCRI), Trivandrum visited Chinese potato cultivators in Tirunelveli to develop a work plan for value chain intervention for maximizing the Farmers Income.
Sree Dhara, a variety of Chinese potato (seeds) has been handed over to Farmers by CTCRI scientists which has low Glycaemic Index(~60) than normal Potatoes(~90).
